The film library, founded in 1987, keeps the following collection, placing them at disposal of scholars, teachers and anyone else who may request them: films about Rimini, set in Rimini and realised by producers from Rimini, photographs, posters, sound tracks and videotapes, books and magazines from all over the world.
Particular attention is given to Federico Fellini whose films are available together with the main bibliographic and documentary productions dedicated to him.
Consultation is permitted before subscription by means of a membership card.

Especially in Winter the Municipal Film Archives organizes film reviews and dedicates several evenings to first run cinema.
