On display the shots that the Genoese photojournalist Ivo Saglietti took in 2003 in Syria, documenting the daily life of the Deir Mar Musa monastery, eighty kilometers from Damascus.
«The shots of the photojournalist Ivo Saglietti tell the utopia of Father Paolo Dall'Oglio and of the community he created in the Deir Mar Musa monastery - explains Moreno Mondaini, curator of the exhibition -. The white, the intense black, the contrast of lights and shadows document the life of the community, representing two worlds, the Catholic and the Muslim, which find a place for dialogue and discussion in the monastery».
The exhibition is included in "Pac'è futuro. Peace project with words and images”, which includes meetings and appointments until 5 May. The project is curated by Isur, Rete della pace, Caritas, Dialogue group between Catholics and Muslims, No Limits to Fly gallery.
