Remembrance Day is celebrated every year on January 27, as an international recurrence in remembrance of the demolition of the gates of the Nazi extermination camp in Auschwitz-Birkenau. Also in Rimini, the commemorative ceremony takes place at the monument dedicated to the victims of the Nazi concentration camps and all the prisoners, in the presence of the civil and military authorities, representatives of associations and a representation of students from the schools in Rimini.
