An opera in four acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the first of three comic operas written by the composer from Salzburg, based on a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte.
A series of amorous misunderstandings, suspicions, clandestine encounters and escapes.
In this new production, director Netia Jones preserves the very essence of Beaumarchais' play, questioning human relationships in a humorous and playful way, confusing reality and fiction.
