The photographic exhibition entitled "Bussavamo con piedi" (We knocked with our feet), displays 280 vintage photos collected by Pietroneno Capitani on the occasion of the research carried out in 2006 for the drafting of his homonymous book (Ed. Libri dell'Arco, Rimini) "Bussavamo with feet ", notes and images of a migration from the Ascoli hinterland to Romagna and Tuscany, with the precious preface by his friend Sergio Zavoli.
For the occasion, screening of the video with the interview by Zavoli dedicated to this Capitani’s project, followed by some testimonies of Romagna and Marche farmers.
The project documents the immigration of Ascoli farmers to Romagna from the second post-war period onwards. It is the first time of this photographic exhibition in Rimini.
The inauguration on Saturday 8 October at 4.00pm in the Sala Cineteca (via Gambalunga, 27).
Nadia Rossi, President of the Marchigiani di Romagna Association,Jamil Sadegholvaad, Mayor of Rimini; Giuliano Zamagni, Province of Rimini; Sergio Loggi, President of the Province of Ascoli Piceno will attend the event.
