Cinema Fulgor, Corso d'Augusto 162 - Rimini historic centre

102 years since the birth of Federico Fellini, a double appointment at the Fulgor Cinema.
Thursday 20 January at 9 pm Francesca Fabbri Fellini presents her short film "La Fellinette", winner of the Special Prize 75 at the Nastri d’Argento 2021.
A mix of fiction and animation homage to the great Federico, the director and uncle, and to his world, which comes into life in the memory of a childhood dream starting from a drawing that the Master made for her portraying his niece on the winter beach of Rimini entitled precisely "The Fellinette ".
In the cast the extraordinary participation of actors such as Milena Vukotic, Ivano Marescotti and Bustric.
To precede, the concert of the Duo Trabace “Sognare Fellini. Visions and sonorous amarcord by Nino Rota ”.
The magical affinity between Federico Fellini and the composer Nino Rota gave rise to real musical masterpieces and "Sognare Fellini" wants to be a sort of "dreamlike homage" to this artistic partnership that has forged over time a real musical genre, as well as a visual imaginary universally classified with the adjective "Fellinian".
On the occasion of the director's birthday, the musicians Angelo and Alessandro Trabace retrace, with the public, the great themes composed by Nino Rota for his films ("Amarcord", "La dolce vita", "8 e 1⁄2", "La strada ”,“ Casanova ”and many others) transcribed and freely revisited on the piano and violin.
In the Cinemino set up inside the Palazzo del Fulgor, however, starting from January 18 and throughout the month of February, Fellini's masterpieces will be screened on Tuesdays, while on Thursdays it will be possible to see documentaries dedicated to the great directors of Italian cinema with some of their most significant films.
