'Lazarus' is the title of the surprising rock-work conceived and wanted by David Bowie shortly before his death, written alongside award-winning Irish playwright Enda Walsh, inspired by Walter Tevis' The Man Who Fell to Earth.
Lazarus, which premiered Off-Broadway at the New York Theater Workshop on December 7, 2015 (Bowie's last public appearance), offers a sort of sequel to the story of the unhappy interstellar migrant Newton, forced to stay on Earth.
