The Lilliput train

A non-conventional train to visit the most important places of the city and the beach

During the summer, Lilliput, the miniature train, takes you on a tour from the beach area to the historic centre in order to discover the most important venues of the city, included the marittime villages, north and south of Rimini center. An unusual means of transport to visit the city and the beach.

Daily tours are scheduled from the beginning of June to mid- September. See the schedule on the reference site.
In Summer: on Wednesday and Saturday LILLIPUT takes you to the city market. Departure in the morning from Miramare to Marina Centro and from Viserba.

The TRAIN FOR THE SEA> During the weekend, who wants to go to the beach can reach the shores by taking advantage of the 'classic' little train, made available by the Municipality of Rimini completely free of charge.
The races run from 9 to 12 and from 15 to 18 on Saturdays and Sundays in the months of July and August, approximately every 30 minutes. The service will also be active on August 15th.
The route traveled is circular:  the train stops at the parking lot in via Giuliani (free parking H24, 7 days a week) and at the stops of the regular bus lines on viale Regina Elena. The route is therefore as follows: via Giuliani, viale Settembrini and via Chiabrera, via Firenze, and then Viale Regina Elena, viale Tripoli, via Ugo Bassi, finally returning to the initial parking.

The rest of the year the train Lillput is available on request for groups, minimum 10 pax. On request guided tours are available also in foreign languages. The cost depends on the kind of tour and the number of partecipants.

During the Christmas time the trains offer a regulare services to go to the city centre from several parking places.
Tthe service is available with three free transport lines through small trains departing from the Settebello, Marzabotto and Palacongressi car parks to the historic center. In detail: Settebello Parking - Center (Arco d'Augusto, Piazza Tre Martiri and Gramsci) in the time slots 9.00am - 12.55pm / 3.00pm - 7.55pm with rides every 20 minutes; Marzabotto - Centro car park (Arco d'Augusto, piazza Malatesta and Tre Martiri) in the time slots 9.00am - 12.53pm / 3.00pm - 7.53pm with rides every 30 minutes and Palacongressi - historic center (Arco d'Augusto) in the time slots 9.00am - 12.55pm / 3.00pm - 7.55pm, with rides every 30 minutes. The days of the service are as follows: from 3 to 12 December - from 17 to 24 December - from 26 to 31 December - 1, 2 and 6 January.
The shuttle from the Celle area is also available, scheduled at the times: 3.00pm - 7.53pm, every half hour and stops at the Tpl stops (Celle-Sacramora roundabout, via XXIII Settembre, Piazzale Vannoni, viale Tiberius).
