Trenitalia in collaboration with the local hotelkeepers association offers the chance of getting back the money of the one way train ticket by booking an hotel for one week in one of the hotel members of the initiative.
If you book for two weeks you can get the refund also for the return ticket.
Here are the discounts:
- with a stay of one week is refunded the one-way ticket up to 40 € per person staying in a 3 or 4 star hotel and 25 € per person for 1 and 2 star hotels.
- for a two weeks holiday is refunded even the return ticket up to 80 € per person for accomodation in 3 and 4 star hotels and 50 € per person for 1 and 2 star hotels.
