Even in the village so loved by Fellini, a torchlight procession with torches will symbolize the beginning of the Christmas holidays.
At 4.30pm in Piazzale Vannoni the distribution of the torches that will be lit at 5.00pm in the presence of the Rimini youth city band. To commemorate the Maestro, various "Fellini" characters will participate as the Gradisca, the Volpina, the lawyer, the Tabaccaia and the father of Titta who, will reach the bridge of Tiberius, where, as for the ‘fogheraccia’ of Amarcord, the old is set on fire for a new happy future. The whole village will be decorated with illuminations that recall the peacock from the film "Amarcord" with its famous "wheel".
The event will also be a time for fundraising in favor of Arop (a Rimini pediatric oncology association).
