La Linea dei Borghi: free transport from Rimini to Verucchio and San Leo

La Linea dei Borghi -The Borghi Line- is a pilot project which connects the two ancient villages of Verucchio and San Leo with the Rimini railway station, thanks to free shuttle buses available to visitors and tourists. Every Thursday until 12 September, departures from the Rimini railway station at 10 am; stop at Villa Verucchio (Palestra area) at 10.25, and then arrival in the center of Verucchio. At 10.50am stop in Pietracuta, then arrival at the fortress of San Leo at 11am. On the way back the bus leaves from the central square of San Leo at 4.30pm, making a stop in Pietracuta, then in Verucchio, with arrival in Rimini at 5.30pm. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE - it is necessary to make a reservations by contacting San Leo 2000:info@sanleo2000.it and a toll-free number, 800 553 800. It is necessary to book by 12am of the day before the one chosen. Tourists will be welcomed by guides who will lead them for free to the main places of the two villages. Special museum rates and discounts available in some restaurants. On the bus, brochures and promotional material will be distributed by the municipal administrations involved.
