The tourist guide accompanies individuals or groups on visits to museums, galleries and archaeological excavations and to regional sites of tourist interest, illustrating their cultural, landscape, natural and production aspects.
The exercise of the profession of tourist guide, with the entry into force of Community Law 97/2013, is extended to the national territory.

The courier accompanies and assists people and groups on trips, in the national territory or abroad; he/she takes care of the implementation of tourist programmes and provides tourist information on the areas visited.
