A SPASS: discovering the Romagna Hinterland by Bus from Rimini

Published on:

For the 2026 summer season, the "A SPASS – Discover Romagna by bus" project strengthens the links between the Rimini coast and the historical and natural heritage of the inland area. The initiative, resulting from a collaboration between Visit Romagna and Start Romagna, offers the chance to explore villages, valleys and art cities through an integrated experiential transport system. This is ideal for those arriving on the Riviera by train or plane, as well as those wishing to enrich their holiday with new experiences and discover the rich heritage of culture, nature, history, traditions and local produce revealed just a few steps from the sea. A SPASS is an invitation to travel slowly, with curiosity and awareness, rediscovering an authentic Romagna made of people, traditions and flavours.

The city of Rimini acts as the primary hub for the project, with strategic pickup points located throughout the area to ensure maximum convenience for guests: Rimini South: Dedicated stops for the Marina Centro sectors and districts to the south of the coastline. Rimini North: Pickups for the San Giuliano, Rivabella, Viserba, Viserbella and Torre Pedrera areas. In total, there are 10 departure pickup points along the coastal area: in addition to the 2 points in Rimini, the buses also stop at Cattolica, Misano Adriatico, Riccione, Bellaria Igea Marina, Cesenatico, Cervia, Lidi Ravennati and Lidi di Comacchio.
