Evening bus service is back between the Airport, Metromare, and the railway station to serve flights arriving at and departing from “Fellini”

Published on:

Once again this year, with the arrival of spring, the direct evening bus link between Rimini railway station and Federico Fellini International Airport returns, featuring a single strategic stop in Via Cavalieri di Vittorio Veneto for the connection with the Metromare.

The service, based on the outbound and return route of Line 9, was trialled last year to meet the need for improved connections between “Fellini” and other hubs, particularly during the evening hours, and to facilitate local travel for those arriving at or departing from the Rimini terminal. The enhanced service has been active since Monday 30 March.

The buses will guarantee coverage for evening flights from 8:30 pm to midnight, based on the Fellini Airport schedule. Indeed, as of April, there are numerous active connections with arrivals and departures after 8:00 pm (such as Budapest, London, Prague, Palermo, and Basel), making an increase in the frequency of Line 9 services during the evening period highly appropriate.

Until 24 May, the connection will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The timetable will be updated after 24 May, based on information provided by the Airport.
