Celebrating Women in Rimini: A Weekend of Art, Elegance and Culture

Published on:

To mark International Women’s Day, the City of Rimini is honouring all women with a special gift: free admission on Sunday, 8th March, to the city’s premier cultural sites, including the Fellini Museum (Castel Sismondo and Palazzo del Fulgor), the City Museum, and the Surgeon’s Domus (Domus del Chirurgo).

Beyond the free museum entry, the weekend offers a multisensory journey through fashion, cinema, and nature:

  • "Riviera Dream Vision" at the Palazzi dell'Arte: A celebration of 75 years of Romagnolo style through iconic fashion and multimedia installations.
  • Palazzo del Fulgor: A tribute to Federico Fellini featuring his original discography and rare photographs by Deborah Beer.
  • City Museum: The "Remàr" exhibition provides an interactive and tactile journey between land and sea.

For those seeking a moment of indulgence in exceptional surroundings, the heart of the city offers sophisticated experiences at the Caffè del Grifone, located inside the magnificent Teatro Galli:

  • "Tea and Temptations": An elegant afternoon journey through fine infusions and delicate pastries with a stunning view over Piazza Cavour.
  • Aperitivo at the Theatre: A classic Italian toast with sparkling wines and gourmet finger food in the theatre’s historic halls.
  • For a truly exclusive sea-view experience, the "Liberty Brunch" at Villa Soresina in Viserbella offers a rare opening. This beautiful historic villa welcomes guests for a refined brunch immersed in a charming, turn-of-the-century atmosphere.
