The special Sunday within the program of the sixth edition of Smiting Festival, the "Smiting Black-Out", presents a music performance carried out by Marco Grompi, Pasquale De Fina and Pier Angelo Cantu. Among musicians and food&wine breaks, there will be on stage an event dedicated to Neil Young “Waterface - Neil Young, gli anni della trilogia oscura” with Pj Cantu, Marco Grompi and Osvaldo Ardenghi (Rusties), Andrea 'Briegel' Filipazzi and TribAlex Marcheschi (Ritmo Tribal / NoGuru), and Francesco Collinelli - videos.
The performance aims to tell the story about the great Canadian musician Neil Young after the worldwide success with "Harvest" in '72, followed by his self-destruction and then his rebirth with three essential albums "Time Fades Away", " Tonight's the Night "and" On The Beach ".
The performance will be preceded at 7.15 pm by the music by Maurizio Curadi with his solo act electro-acoustic music which range from compositions and instrumental improvisations – an unusual and personal melting up of minimal r'n'r and primitive blues with ethnic sounds.
Between the two performances there will be an aperitif break, "Crazyhorses" by Osteria Il Mare in Piazza in the theatre foyer.
