In Rimini, the festive season is enriched by an event of national significance with the arrival of the Olympic Flame for the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Games.
The exciting Olympic Flame Relay will make its stop on January 5th, 2026, engaging the entire city, from the seafront to the historic center. Celebratory activities will take place throughout the day, culminating around 7:30 PM in Piazza Malatesta with the lighting of the cauldron by the final torchbearer.
The honor goes to Nicole Piomboni, the Rimini native and prominent player for the Under 21 National Volleyball Team, who was a key figure in securing the gold medal victory in Indonesia.
