The 11th annual International Choral Competition of the City of Rimini hosts a wide range of choirs from various parts of the world, highlighting how choral music has gained an important place in the musical field.
The event aims not to be only a choral contest, but also to present the characteristics and diversity of each group and their repertoire with concerts set in the ancient Roman city, which is Rimini, known for the beauty of its beaches, but even for its glorious past.
As a preview of the contest, there is proposed a concert by the Trinity Boys Choir 'Nine', Wednesday 20th September at 9 pm ,in the Salesiani church. The entrance to the concert is € 10.
The final of the festival will take place at the Novelli Theatre, Sunday 24th September at 9 pm with the choral contest ‘Gran Premio Città di Rimini’.
The festival is attended by choirs from many different countries: Italy, Slovenia, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Slovakia, Sweden, Russia, Guatemala and Indonesia.
