Rimini is preparing to host one of the most spectacular events of the year: Rimini AIR Show 2025, taking place on 11 May along Rimini beach. The event, which promises to amaze thousands of spectators, will bring a series of breathtaking aerobatics, displays of vintage and modern aircraft, and an air parade that will cross the sky over the city's sea with its centre at Piazzale Kennedy. The event, the result of the collaboration between the Municipality of Rimini and the Aero Club of Fano, will culminate with the highlight exhibition of the Frecce Tricolori, the famous aerobatic patrol of the Italian Air Force, which will spread the tricolour in the skies of Rimini, showing the crowd the aerobatics and scenography that make the Frecce Tricolori famous throughout the world.
Founded in 1961, the patrol's official name is 313th Aerobatic Training Group and it is made up of ten aircraft, nine of which perform in formation and one as a soloist.
The show includes a wide-ranging programme that will see several emotionally-charged moments, culminating in the incredible and perfect aerobatic show over the sea.
On Saturday 10 May acrobatic rehearsal starting at 3 p.m.
After the latest events that occurred in Pantelleria on 6 May, there is currently no evidence to suggest any changes to the National Aerobatic Team's programme. However, the Air Force is continuing the planned and due technical evaluations that will result in more detailed updates regarding the participation of the aerobatic team and the modalities of future performances.
