Nino Rota Ensemble was founded in 1995 to celebrate 100 years of cinema. It is an all-female musical group, a quartet with vocals, flute, violin and piano. The name chosen is a tribute to the great Italian composer Nino Rota, author of many soundtracks for Federico Fellini's films: during his career, Maestro Rota also worked with other great directors such as Luchino Visconti, Franco Zeffirelli and Francis Ford Coppola. 
Since its foundation, the group has performed extensively, establishing itself for its skill and originality in Europe and in some non-European countries with an extraordinary repertoire, performing the most famous compositions of great Italian and foreign masters in original arrangements by pianist Deborah Vico, founder of the group, who adapted this magnificent repertoire to the Ensemble.
