Liscio Street Parade ‘New Year edition’

'Big party' and fireworks on the beach for the longest New Year's Eve in the world

Wednesday 31 December 2025

For the first time on New Year's Eve, the Liscio Street Parade – New Year's Special brings the contagious joy of the Romagna region's folk dance to the main square.
Liscio is the big novelty this New Year’s. Following its huge summer success, this traditional music style returns to Piazzale Kennedy on December 31st for the first time ever, transforming the beautiful seafront Belvedere into a massive open-air 'Balera' (dance hall). The event will feature three live Orchestras, showcasing talent from young stars to established 'big names': Santa Balera, Alluvionati del Liscio, and the Liscio rockstar, Roberta Cappelletti.
The absolute protagonist will be the Liscio genre and all its contemporary evolutions, capable of engaging a cross-generational and cross-cultural audience. This original and festive format combines the power of live orchestra music, the choreographies of dance schools’ performers, and the rhythm of disco-liscio DJ sets, constantly breathing new life into tradition, thanks to the organization by Materiali Musicali and Le Sirene Danzanti.
Join a grand collective toast to the rhythm of waltzes, mazurkas, and polkas, with spectacular fireworks over the sea marking the stroke of midnight.
A festive night celebrating Romagna's identity and popular music, to welcome the arrival of the New Year together.
