from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 May 2026
Multiple Events

The film and audiovisual industry returns to the spotlight in Rimini for the 8th edition of La Settima Arte Cinema e Industria, the festival organised by Confindustria Romagna.
Three days of free events will offer the public a unique opportunity to discover the values behind filmmaking. The programme includes screenings, masterclasses, talks, and the Cinema e Industria Awards ceremony—a chance to discuss the "industry of dreams" and experience the behind-the-scenes atmosphere.
The 2026 edition celebrates the myth of cinema through the themes of dreams, eternity, movement, and modernity, reflecting on who we are and what we dream of while looking to the future with an innovative vision. Myth serves as cinematic inspiration to create new worlds, visions, and genres, while driving economic development and promoting the core values of "Made in Italy" and the Romagna identity.
The poster for this 8th edition pays homage to the myth of cinema and its profound imagery, featuring Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni on the set of Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita. This film helped create icons and a cultural, artistic, and visionary heritage that transcends the boundaries of space and time. The photograph, taken by Pierluigi Praturlon, is preserved in the Cineteca Nazionale-CSC (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia) photographic archives.
The Festa del Cinema is organised by Confindustria Romagna in collaboration with the Fellini Museum and the Rimini Cineteca, with the support of various local businesses and the patronage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Municipality of Rimini, the Province of Rimini, the University of Bologna – Department of the Arts, ANICA, Visit Romagna, Visit Rimini, and other institutions.
