The Seventh Art - Cinema and Industry is back to Rimini. Now in its seventh edition, the event, organized by Confindustria Romagna, Cinema Fulgor and University of Bologna - Department of Arts, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini, was created with the aim of spreading the values of the film industry and supporting the sector and all its related industries.
Four days divided into a program of free events, with screenings, masterclasses, training sessions, conferences, exhibitions, book presentations, up to the ceremony for the awarding of the "Cinema and Industry" award assigned by a jury of experts chaired by the famous director Pupi Avati.
Receiving the Confindustria Romagna Cinema and Industry 2025 Award will be: GIANNI AMELIO Honorary Award, LORENZO MIELI Production Award, ROBERTO PROIA (EAGLE PICTURES) Distribution Award, DARIA D'ANTONIO Photography Award, STEFANO CIAMMITTI Costumes Award, CINEDORA Special Award for Vermiglio.
The Valpharma Award for Cinema will also be given to director MARGHERITA FERRI during the ceremony. The ceremony is presented by journalist Paola Saluzzi.
Opening Night of the event on Thursday 8 May will feature the famous fashion designer Alberta Ferretti in the meeting ‘Cinema and fashion: a style dialogue with Alberta Ferretti’. The fashion designer and entrepreneur will talk to the audience about her professional history and her relationship with the seventh art.
In its seventh edition, the Settima Arte Cinema e Industria will celebrate the Italian and international industry committed to facing constant changes and abrupt technological changes, such as Artificial Intelligence, but which always manages to resist and face challenges by appealing to the public thanks to the quality of its productions.
Among this year's novelties is the twinning of La Settima Arte and #24FramealSecondo Rome Short Film Festival, with the aim of highlighting the talents of the ‘Z generation’, aspiring future professionals in the sector.

It was chosen a photograph of a moment of work on the set of Pasqualino Settebellezze, celebrating its 50th anniversary, with director Lina Wertmüller and the film's protagonist Giancarlo Giannini. The shot was taken by photographer Tony Benetti and is kept at the Cineteca Nazionale - CSC Photographic Archive. The film brought Lina Wertmüller a nomination for four Academy Awards and she was also the first woman to be nominated for the Best Director award for this work.
