The Pink Night is back in 2017 and with its joyful atmosphere invades once again the Adriatic coast, from Comacchio to Pesaro, with the core of the event in Rimini.
The official image of the Pink Night 2017 is #togethER (made by MZDS Manzi and Zanotti design study in Cesena) and focuses on the chorus concept. The word 'Together' is in the middle of a sea of symbols icons of the Adriatic coast: from 'piadina' to sun umbrellas, from music to amusement parks, passing-by dolphins and flamingos, ‘cappelletti’ and road bikes, tourist attractions and monuments and much more, all ... together.
The twelfth edition of the New Year's Day of the Italian Summer opens officially at sunset on Friday 7th July with a series of appointments in the squares, on the beach and in the historic centres of the Riviera, spreading a cheerfully and engaging atmosphere along the 110 km of coastline.
On Friday 7th July in Rimini, Piazzale fellini, it is scheduled a live concert by the Italian rocker Piero Pelù and his band Litfiba. On stage they will present songs from their latest album 'Eutòpia', which has given the title to the summer tour, and also the greatest hits of their long carrier.
At midnight, everyone will move to the beach to admire the great and colourful fireworks display that will light up the whole Adriatic Riviera.
The first exciting and suggestive event on Saturday 8th July is the concert at dawn, at 5 am, to greet the sunrise with live music performed live on Riminiterme beach. Flavio Boltro and Danilo Rea will present their musical project "Opera", where the classical music repertoire is melted up with jazz.
The music continues in the evening with a DJ set, "Bristol Sound", by Daddy G, one of the Massive Attack's founders, from 11 pm on the Beach Arena next to Piazzale Boscovich.
