The UN has declared 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development.
The 9th edition of the IT.A.CÀ, the festival on responsible tourism, invites to discover locations and cultures through tours, conferences, workshops and other initiatives. The festival includes ten cities of the regions Emilia Romagna, Veneto, Piemonte and Trentino, each one with a program according to the specific characteristics of the territory. The aim of the festival is to promote a new concept of tourism, more ethical and respectful of the environment and of the people who live in the territory.
This year for the first time, the Rimini edition of the festival will host the international conference "Green Destinations Day" on September 22nd, with the participation of international experts who will bring ideas and examples of best practices on sustainable tourism. Program
