Rimini's old town center hosts the 21st edition of "Color Coriandolo".
Two days of celebration in the historic center, which becomes an open-air arena for shows and music, with artists, jugglers, musicians, acrobats, fairytale characters and pyrotechnic effects.Games, dances, colors, parades, masks, jokes and fun, these are the ingredients to celebrate Carnival in the streets and have fun for a widespread entertainment in the historic centre of Rimini.
On Sunday 19 February the city comes alive with dancers, musicians, jugglers and with the Brass Band, six colorful, surreal musicians who move among the notes of their brass instruments, spreading a contagious joy.
Tuesday 21 February, Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday, is celebrated with an evocative performance by artists with spectacular costumes, statuary characters with papier-mâché faces, drum rhythms, stilt walkers, luminous butterflies, light effects and acrobatics, for a finale in the company of the most beloved characters of the Lewis Carroll's masterpiece: from Alice to the Mad Hatter, from the White Rabbit to the Queen of Hearts.

From Saturday 4 February, and for the entire Carnival period, the French carousel begins spinning with its magical wheel made of lights, old-style wooden horses and carriages. An ancient amusement that still makes dream children and adults, who re-experoence their past as children.
