Steve McQueen had a dream: to make a film about a car race, the most realistic, the most engaging. He did not imagine that the realizing of "The 24 Hours of Le Mans" would have cost him so much, as artist and as to human and economic issues. Gabriel Clarke and John McKenna have realized a film within the film - based on the testimonies by Chad McQueen, Steve's son, and the other protagonists of the historical adventure film - where the icon of reckless life was racing, confusing fiction with the reality of autodrome.
The film is screened in the original language with subtitles in Italian.
