Rimini hosts the second edition of the Rimini Cuore e Burlesque Festival, an event dedicated to the art of international burlesque. The festival is designed to offer an inclusive and accessible experience, celebrating the many expressions of this performance art form. Performers, students and enthusiasts gather in Rimini with the aim of showcasing live performance while also encouraging reflection on the social and cultural value of gender equality.
The festival opens on the evening of Friday 5 June with the launch of a themed market dedicated to burlesque and handmade craftsmanship. Visitors can explore a curated selection of unique creations, ranging from colourful costumes to distinctive accessories. At 9:00 pm, the stage comes alive with a competition featuring emerging talents from around the world, competing for the title of “Mx Rimini Burlesque” in performances that combine elegance and style.
On Saturday 6 June at 10:00 am, the programme continues with “Showgirls Downtown”, a photographic walk inspired by Fellini’s circus imagery and the historic centre of Rimini. The main event of the day is scheduled for 9:00 pm with the “Grand Gala & StarsNight”, showcasing internationally renowned performers. The evening concludes from 11:50 pm onwards with an after-party featuring music and a relaxed social atmosphere.
Sunday 7 June is dedicated to training and social interaction, with workshops running from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, where participants can learn techniques and share their passion for the art form. The festival closes at 5:00 pm with a Beach Party at Cabana Beach (Bagno 28), offering music, entertainment and a chance to relax by the sea, bringing three days of culture, performance and enjoyment to a lively close.
An opportunity to experience burlesque through a mix of live performances, culture and craftsmanship.
