Macbeth, The Consul, Madama Butterfly, Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali, and La traviata are the featured titles of the 2026 Opera Season at Rimini’s Teatro Galli. The programme journeys through the great operatic repertoire of the 19th and 20th centuries, alternating Italian traditional masterpieces with a significant foray into the musical theatre of the last century.
The season opens on Friday 6 February 2026 (8:00 pm) – with a second performance on Sunday 8 February (3:30 pm) – with Giuseppe Verdi’s Macbeth, one of the composer’s darkest and most powerful works, inspired by the Shakespearean tragedy.
The programme continues on Tuesday 24 March (8:00 pm) with a new production by the Maderna-Lettimi Conservatory of Cesena-Rimini: Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Consul, a 20th-century musical theatre masterpiece and a work of profound social significance.
On Thursday 30 April (8:00 pm), Giacomo Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, one of the most beloved operas in the global repertoire, will take the stage.
The collaboration between Teatro Galli and the Maderna-Lettimi Conservatory continues with a new production of Gaetano Donizetti’s Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali on Friday 16 October (8:00 pm). This brilliant comic opera uses irony and sarcasm to reveal the "behind-the-scenes" world of opera.
The 2026 Opera Season concludes with Giuseppe Verdi’s La traviata, performed on Friday 23 October (8:00 pm) and Sunday 25 October (3:30 pm).
The season is complemented by a series of introductory talks titled "Parole per la musica", designed to prepare audiences for the operatic works. 

The 2026 Sagra Musicale Malatestiana unfolds as a rich and diverse season that transforms Rimini into an international musical hub, weaving together great performers, artistic research, and local heritage.
The heart of the festival is the season of symphonic concerts at the Teatro Galli. The inauguration on Sunday, 30th August, is entrusted to the Münchner Philharmoniker conducted by Lahav Shani, with a programme featuring Shostakovich and Brahms. This is followed on 24th September by the Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini with a journey dedicated to Wagner’s Ring Cycle. On 11th October, the Filarmonica della Scala arrives under the baton of Riccardo Chailly, while on 1st October the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia hosts pianist Nikolai Lugansky. In autumn, on 1st November, the Orchestra Leonore conducted by Daniele Giorgi performs Bach’s Mass in B minor, and on 9th November, the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, with Antonio Pappano and pianist Alexandre Kantorow, brings the series to a close.
Alongside the major concerts, special projects explore new languages and repertoires: Frammenti che cantano with Ensemble Micrologus evokes the medieval music of the Malatesta court (4 September); Regola, by NicoNote, is inspired by the figure of Hildegard von Bingen (30 September); and The Tempest Songbook intertwines the sounds of Kaija Saariaho and Henry Purcell, creating a bridge between the 17th century and the contemporary era (7 October).
The chamber music programme offers refined itineraries across different epochs: from the Baroque sounds of the Magnifica Baroque Ensemble (5 August) and Bellissima Licori (7 August in Sant'Agata Feltria) - in collaboration with the San Marino International Summer Courses-, to the Quartetto Doré with programmes focused on the "New World" (8 September), and the Accademia Bizantina conducted by Ottavio Dantone dedicated to Vivaldi (13 September). Also highly original is the concert featuring Il Pomo d’Oro and Giovanni Sollima, which draws a connection between Francesco Zappa and Frank Zappa (12 November). Finally, a commemorative concert featuring vocal and instrumental masterpieces, dedicated to the legacy of the late composer and honorary citizen of Rimini, Alfredo Speranza (7 November).
Lecture-concerts highlight Rimini's musical memory, narrating the lives of local figures such as Mario Bianchelli, Maria Rita Brondi, Amintore Galli, Angelica Quadrelli, and other local protagonists, pairing live performances with historical insights.
Great emphasis is placed on new generations in the "Music and Youth" section: Music Week (16 - 31 May) involves schools, the conservatory, and local organisations with widespread concerts and workshops. These are joined by a recital by pianist Daniele Martinelli, 2025 Venice Prize winner (8 November), and Cosmi sonori, performed by the Youth Orchestra and Choir of Rimini.
For dance, the central event is Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, performed by the State Ballet of Georgia (Tbilisi) with choreography by Marius Petipa, in the version by Alexey Fadeechev and Nina Ananiashvili (2 December).
The programme is completed by organ concerts, dedicated to sacred repertoire and the city’s heritage, and the contemporary section Percuotere la mente, focused on cross-genre languages. 
To support the listening experience, Parole per la musica (Words for Music) offers meetings with scholars and musicologists to delve deeper into the programmes and composers.

After being exhibited at Ca’ d’Oro in Venice and in New York, the restored Pietà by Giovanni Bellini returns to Rimini, where it will be presented in dialogue with the powerful and dramatic Saint Sebastian by Andrea Mantegna from the Franchetti Collection.
The project originates from the significant restoration of Bellini’s Pietà, a work preserved in the municipal museums of Rimini, funded by the Venetian Heritage Foundation.
The exhibition in Rimini goes beyond a comparison between Bellini and Mantegna—brothers-in-law since 1453, when Andrea married Nicolosia, Giovanni’s sister—and offers an opportunity to reflect on the close historical, cultural, artistic and iconographic ties that have linked Rimini with the Republic of Venice over the centuries.

The big wheel, which has characterized the tourist skyline of the city for more than ten years, rises again in piazzale Boscovich, at the harbour area. The 55 meters high attraction overlooking the sea, opens to the public on the Easter weekend and will remain open until October, accompanying the public on a memorable “air journey” to admire the entire city and the Riviera from Lidi Ferraresi to Gabicce, passing through the hinterland and the sea. 

Music as a sanctuary, a dialogue, a claim, and a vision for the future rooted in its origins. It serves as a tool for inner exploration and a medium for the body to tell its story through dance and poetry. The 2026 edition of Percuotere la mente—the contemporary section of the Sagra Musicale Malatestiana—continues to expand and deepen its artistic reach. The program will guide audiences from summer through November, moving between the Corte degli Agostiniani, Teatro Galli, and Teatro degli Atti.
Staying true to its mission of breaking down the boundaries of genres and languages, this journey opens even further to collaborations and artistic crossovers. The first act (July 9) at Teatro Galli features a performance blending live music and dance, directed by Lebanese choreographer Ali Chahrour in collaboration with Santarcangelo Festival 2026.
This marks the start of a musical voyage that will lead into the dreamlike and cinematic atmospheres of Patrick Watson (July 24), making his highly anticipated return to the stage. It continues with the magnetic voice of Anna von Hausswolff (August 9), showcasing the intensity of the pipe organ in dialogue with percussion and guitars—a performance ranging from dark rock to intimate reflections (in collaboration with Mind Marea).
Autumn brings the discovery of experimentation and psychedelic compositions with the Wayne Horvitz Electric Circus (October 10). The American composer will be joined by top musicians from the Tuscany-Emilia-Romagna region, exploring everything from Miles Davis to improvisation. On October 17, the focus shifts to the "sounds of the roots" with Tecno Zaclèn, where the poetry of Pedretti and the raw sounds of the land and the coast are remastered and recomposed through digital technology.
Finally, on November 12, Giovanni Sollima, Vanni Moretto, and Il Pomo d’Oro will bridge the gap between genres by comparing the rock of Frank Zappa with the works of 18th-century cellist and composer Francesco Zappa—the very figure the American rock star celebrated in his 1984 album.

Giardini Sospesi (Suspended Gardens), a solo exhibition by Mauro Pipani, opens on Friday, 18 September, at 6:30 pm at Augeo Art Space in Rimini.
The exhibition is part of Giardini d’Autore nella Città di Rimini, a project that brings art, landscape, nature and contemporary culture into dialogue, expanding the concept of the garden beyond its traditional boundaries.
Through a painting style characterised by transparency, layers of colour and delicate plays of light, Pipani invites visitors into a contemplative, suspended dimension, where colour becomes memory, emotion and perception.
The works on display explore the relationship between time, landscape and transformation, presenting the garden as a symbolic space for care, growth and the encounter between nature and culture.
Organised in collaboration with Art_Preview and held under the patronage of the Municipality of Rimini and the Emilia-Romagna Region, the exhibition will be accompanied by a catalogue featuring a critical essay by art historian Sabina Ghinassi.
The artist will be present at the opening.

A unique opportunity to explore the Museum of Perspectives and its fascinating ethnographic collections, embarking on a journey through the centuries and the cultures of the world.
The Museum of Perspectives is one of Italy’s leading museums devoted entirely to non-Western cultures. Housed in Villa Alvarado, it is home to more than 7,000 works from African, Oceanic, pre-Columbian and Asian cultures. The museum’s name, inspired by a project developed by anthropologist Marc Augé, invites visitors to reflect on the relationship between the Western world and other cultures over time.
The initiative is organised through a collaboration between the Vite in Transito ODV association and the Municipality of Rimini’s Museums and Extra-European Cultures department.

From 3 October, Fiabilandia will be transformed with themed settings, illuminated pumpkins, giant cobwebs, witches’ dens and 
areas inhabited by ghosts, bats and mysterious creatures. Along the park’s avenues, costumed characters will entertain visitors among the attractions and activities, creating a family-friendly Halloween atmosphere.
On opening days, the programme includes shows with artists, actors and performers, mysterious and entertaining stories, spooky tunnels, face painting, a witches’ baby dance, entertainment and dance routines for adults and children.
The park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 October to 8 November, as well as on Wednesday 14 October, the feast day of Saint Gaudentius, Rimini’s patron saint.
On Saturday 31 October, Halloween itself, the park will remain open until 11 pm. The evening will end with a fancy-dress parade, open to all children wearing spooky, original or imaginative costumes. Prizes will be awarded to all participating children.
A special family offer will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from 3 October to 8 November and on Wednesday 14 October, with the exception of Saturday 31 October. With the purchase of two full-price tickets, one child between 90 and 130 centimetres tall wearing a Halloween costume will be admitted free of charge.

During the celebration of San Gaudenzo, Rimini's Patron Saint, the traditional San Gaudenzo Bingo (Tombola) is held. 
It is an event that annually brings together locals and visitors in Cavour square for an afternoon of music, entertainment and activities for families.
The event begins at 3.00 pm with a concert by the Banda Città di Rimini. Music, entertainment by Radio Gamma and a range of activities at the stands set up around the square continue throughout the afternoon. The tombola draw begins at 4.30 pm.
From 2.30 pm, tombola cards can be purchased from the sales point in the square, and visitors can explore the Italian Red Cross Village. The area includes a Health Point offering basic health checks, a Training Point where instructors demonstrate life-saving techniques and give visitors the opportunity to practise them, and activities for children, including face painting and the Teddy Bear Ambulance.
The Tombola is also a charity initiative: proceeds from the sale of tombola cards help support projects run by the Rimini Committee of the Italian Red Cross.

Among the events taking place during TTG Travel Experience week is an outdoor activity inviting participants to discover Rimini’s waterfront in the early morning. On Thursday, 15 October, the TTG Sunrise Walk and Run returns, offering a route of approximately five kilometres along the seafront and through Parco del Mare, to be enjoyed at your own pace, whether walking or running.
Participants are welcome from 6:45 am for check-in, followed by a warm-up session before the start at 7:30 am.
The initiative offers an opportunity to start the day with some physical activity while discovering one of the city’s most significant urban regeneration projects, taking in the landscapes of Rimini’s newly redeveloped seafront at a particularly atmospheric time of day.

The exhibition features thirty covers from “Compagnia EXTRA”, a series published by Quodlibet and directed by Ermanno Cavazzoni, an Italian writer, screenwriter and academic who has also directed or co-directed several major literary journals.
The series has a distinctive graphic design: a white background, the title in black and the author’s name in red. Within this structured layout, fantastic creatures, objects, drawings and figures accompany the individual volumes through visual associations that remain open to different interpretations.
Cavazzoni selects the images himself from a personal archive in which he collects those that capture his attention. The selection takes place after he has read each book, without establishing a single, fixed relationship between the text and the cover. This creative process is explored in an interview conducted by Simonetta Santucci, curator of the exhibition. The full interview is published in the leaflet accompanying visitors through the exhibition.
The story of the series began in 2008 with a connection to Federico Fellini, through the publication of Il viaggio di Mastorna. This link makes the Fellini Museum a natural setting for the exhibition and for the meeting with Cavazzoni, whose novel Il poema dei lunatici inspired Fellini’s final film, La voce della luna.
Many of the images used by the series over the years come from drawings created by the young participants in Atelier dell’errore, a project led by Luca Santiago Mora. Others are works by artists including Luigi Ontani, Ericailcane, Angelo Palazzini and Gianluigi Toccafondo. By bringing these images together in a single exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to examine more closely works that would usually be encountered individually on bookshop shelves.
Ermanno Cavazzoni and the exhibition’s curator, Simonetta Santucci, will attend the opening. A toast will follow.

Tecno Zaclén acts as an evocative agent, recovering and remastering the past, breaking new ground and bringing it back to light to foster the emergence of new fruits.
In place of guitars, basses and drums, there is the computer: the new folk instrument. Sonic architectures cut, stitch and fuse noise, field recordings, voices and samples.
Their artistic mission is to offer a universal method for exploring places, people and stories in depth, drilling down into the core of distant cultures while starting with those closest and most familiar to us.
The Art of Drilling Core is the method through which the buried voices of tradition return to reclaim their place in the listening experience.

A guided tour to discover the Malatesta Temple (Tempio Malatestiano), its history, and all its secrets—an authentic jewel of the Italian Renaissance.
Commissioned by Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta and designed as the first architectural work of Leon Battista Alberti, construction began in 1447. The Temple remains a major manifesto of Renaissance architecture, even in its incomplete state.
Together, visitors will explore the treasures held within the Temple: the Chapel of the Angels (or Chapel of Isotta), which houses the burial ark of Sigismondo’s wife, Isotta; and the Crucifix by Giotto, a panel painting originally belonging to the Church of Saint Francis, around which the Temple was subsequently built.
Furthermore, the tour includes the Fresco by Piero della Francesca, painted in 1451, depicting Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta kneeling before Saint Sigismund; his tomb located to the right of the entrance; and the Arch of the Ancestors, where Sigismondo ordered the remains of his forebears and descendants to be placed.

To mark the 50th anniversary of Federico Fellini’s Fellini’s Casanova, the Fellini Museum in Rimini will host Dressing Casanova on 20 and 21 October, a cultural journey exploring the visual universe of one of the Rimini-born director’s most original and visionary films. The event brings together cinema, fashion, history, cultural heritage and contemporary creativity.
The initiative takes place over two days, with free admission. The first event, on Tuesday 20 October at 4:00 p.m at the Cinemino of Palazzo del Fulgor, will feature a full screening of Fellini’s Casanova, offering audiences the opportunity to discover or revisit the 1976 film.
On Wednesday 21 October, the focus shifts to cultural and academic exploration. At 5:30 p.m, at the Salottino of Palazzo del Fulgor, a panel discussion will explore the making of the film, its costumes and the different artistic forms that continue to reinterpret its imagery. Through contributions from scholars and experts, Fellini’s Casanova will be examined as an example of the meeting between historical reconstruction and artistic invention, highlighting the role of costume as a narrative and identity-defining element in Fellini’s cinematic universe.
Director and screenwriter Gianfranco Angelucci, a leading expert on the world of Fellini, will revisit the making of the film through anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories. Veronica Innocenti, Professor at the Department of the Arts of the University of Bologna, will explore the role of costume design and the work of Danilo Donati, creator of the film’s sculptural costumes.
The event will also showcase work created by students at the Rimini Campus as part of a fashion design project inspired by Casanova and the 18th century, developed under the guidance of Giordano Pierlorenzi, who was then a lecturer in Fashion Design at the Rimini campus.
The discussion will provide an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between memory and innovation, the connections between cinema and fashion, and the involvement of younger generations in preserving and promoting Fellini’s legacy.
Comics will also have a place in the programme: Sabrina Zanetti, artistic director of Cartoon Club, will introduce the audience to the drawings dedicated to Casanova by renowned artist Milo Manara.

From 24 September to December 2026, Cinema Fulgor launches its new season with a programme featuring 37 films, previews, guest appearances, retrospectives dedicated to acclaimed directors, and new events celebrating contemporary cinema and great classics.
New additions include an expanded screening schedule and two new series, “Documentary Thursdays” and “Saturday After Hours”, alongside established favourites such as “Film Buff Mondays”, “Original Language Tuesdays”, “Aperitivo & Short Films” and “Sunday Breakfast Screenings”.

During the long All Saints' Day weekend, Piazza Cavour hosts Ciocùlèda – Chocolate Festival, an unmissable event for lovers of good taste. The square is transformed into a Chocolate Market, where master chocolatiers from all over Italy will exhibit and offer their artisan creations. 
Visitors can immerse themselves in a journey of flavours and wonders, participating in guided tastings, themed workshops and show cooking that will reveal the secrets of chocolate making.

With the theme "Out of the Shell," inspired by a famous line from Shakespeare’s Hamlet, the new 2026/2027 Prose and Dance Season at Teatro Galli in Rimini is officially underway. This rich lineup of events combines great classics, contemporary playwriting, dance, civic theater, comedy, and shows for all ages.
Among the headliners of the season are prominent names from the Italian theater scene, including Pierfrancesco Favino, Sonia Bergamasco, Alessandro Gassmann, Umberto Orsini, Francesco Pannofino, Leonardo Lidi, Anna Ferzetti and Lodo Guenzi.
The prose program is divided across traditional subscription series (ABC and D), alternating between reinterpretations of classics, literary adaptations, and texts dedicated to current affairs. 
Opening the season on October 30 will be Motus with the project Frankenstein_Diptych. Among the out-of-subscription events are Monet. Una vita a colori with Marco Goldin, the comedy of Ale & Franz, and the operetta Die Fledermaus (Il Pipistrello).
Space is also dedicated to dance with two productions: The Nutcracker (Lo Schiaccianoci) by the MM Contemporary Dance Company (January 24) and Notte Morricone by Aterballetto (April 2), a tribute to the renowned composer Ennio Morricone.
The season also involves the Teatro degli Atti, featuring civic theater productions, memory-themed shows, and programming tailored for younger generations. 
Additionally, the Teatro No Limits project has been confirmed, making select performances accessible to visually impaired audiences through audio description.

Opening the new Teatro Galli Prose and Dance Season is Frankenstein_Diptych, a project by the company Motus that reinterprets the famous myth created by Mary Shelley, transforming it into a powerful reflection on the present.
Divided into two chapters, Frankenstein (A Love Story) and Frankenstein (History of Hate), the show investigates universal and highly topical themes such as loneliness, the need for recognition, rejection, and the fear of the other.
In the first part, the search for love and belonging by fragile, hybrid, and marginalized creatures emerges, suspended between the desire for connection and the impossibility of encounter. The second part instead portrays the consequences of exclusion and misunderstanding, showing how rejection can turn into anger and conflict.
Through an intense and visionary scenic language, Motus uses the figure of the "monster" as a metaphor for contemporary marginalization and the difficulties of a society that struggles to embrace differences.
A poetic and political work that invites reflection on our relationship with others and the mechanisms that generate exclusion, discrimination, and isolation.

Viserba gets into the Halloween spirit with an afternoon dedicated to children and kids.
From 4:00 p.m to 6:30 p.m, the town centre will come alive with entertainment, music, dancing and a lotof fun and activities.
After the event for younger visitors, the celebrations will continue with the Viserba Day Fest. From 6:30 p.m, music and convivial moments will bring the evening to life in the heart of the neighbourhood.
A chance for everyone to enjoy a special day together, surrounded by costumes, pumpkins and the colours of autumn, with Piazza Pascoli transformed into a meeting place for all ages.

For Halloween, Italia in Miniatura will be open on Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November, from 10 am to 5 pm. The ticket offices will close at 3.30 pm.
The route through scale models of Italian cities, monuments and landscapes will feature themed settings and a Halloween atmosphere. Among the carefully reconstructed castles, fortresses and villages, visitors will encounter giant trolls, mermaids, mummies and black cats, inspired by traditions and ancient legends.
Visitors can stroll among the models as giants walking through Italian cities and enjoy a gondola ride through a scale reproduction of Venice.
The admission ticket includes access to the following attractions: Venezia, Esperimenta, Pappamondo, Pinocchio, the Panoramic Tower, the Driving School, the Old Sawmill and PlayMart.
The park will be open on Saturdays and Sundays in October and on Sundays in November, before reopening for the Christmas holiday period.

This is Halloween! For one mysterious night, some of the artworks in the Museum’s collections have been transformed into... ghosts.
But beware: they are very mischievous and are hiding among the galleries, ready to play tricks on visitors. Will you be able to find them all?
After a fun ghost hunt among the Museum’s artworks, each participant will have the chance to let their imagination run wild and transform their favourite artwork into a friendly little ghost.
An activity combining play, creativity and discovery, for a truly... spooky way to experience the Museum!

During the workshop, children will create their very own haunted painting.

After 25 years away from the stage, Fabio De Luigi finally returns to his roots with a live theatre tour, bringing his unique style to the stage. The show is an intimate and generous performance, shaped around its performer, where comedy and a poetic sensibility coexist in perfect harmony.
Written together with Paolo Cananzi, the project marks a significant return to live performance and direct interaction with the audience.
On stage, De Luigi moves between monologues, stories and moments of pure improvisation, showcasing his experience as both an actor and a writer.
This is where he rediscovers his most authentic form of expression: the live encounter, without filters or mediation, created night after night together with the audience.

The concert is a “Journey Through Memory” dedicated to Alfredo Speranza (1930–2019), a composer and pianist born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and an honorary citizen of Rimini. He was a mentor to generations of young musicians who trained at the piano school he founded in his adopted city in the early 1960s.
Taking audiences on a musical journey from the passionate, sentimental atmosphere of Gaetano Donizetti’s works to compositions written by Alfredo Speranza to blend song with the voice of the piano, this “Journey” explores moments of intimacy and shared joy among the four performers, united by their vivid memories of the Maestro, a common thread of emotion and inspiration.

Born in 2004, Daniele Martinelli is one of the most promising Italian talents of his generation. He began studying piano at the age of eight and has distinguished himself in major competitions, including the Premio Venezia at Teatro La Fenice and the Premio Nazionale delle Arti.
He has performed at prestigious venues such as Sala Verdi and the Musikverein, collaborating with orchestras including the Orchestra of the Fondazione Arena di Verona. Supported by the Lieven Piano Foundation, he has attended masterclasses with Andreas Staier and Claudio Martínez Mehner.
With a keen interest in contemporary repertoire, he is currently studying at the Milan Conservatory with Maria Grazia Bellocchio, having previously graduated with honours in Bergamo.

The Chamber Orchestra of Europe, conducted by Antonio Pappano, presents a programme of Romantic intensity, featuring pianist Alexandre Kantorow.
The evening opens with Johannes Brahms’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor, Op. 15, a monumental and passionate work in which the piano engages in an ongoing dialogue with the orchestra, balancing virtuosic brilliance, expressive depth and symphonic tension.
After the interval, the concert continues with Antonín Dvořák’sSymphony No. 7 in D minor, Op. 70, one of the Bohemian composer’s most intense and dramatic works, rich in energy, lyricism and orchestral power.

From the monumental symphonic architecture of Gustav Holst’s The Planets, a landmark in the musical representation of space, to the celebrated soundtracks of John Williams and Hans Zimmer, whose music has transformed the orchestral language into an epic, universal narrative, this programme explores sound worlds suspended between cinema, classical music and pop culture.
The second half of the concert turns towards a more intimate, contemporary sensibility. Eric Whitacre’s Deep Field, inspired by images captured by the Hubble Space Telescope, and Life on Mars? by David Bowie, an icon of twentieth-century music, expand the concept of “space” as both a physical and emotional dimension, a place of exploration and dreams.
This musical journey celebrates the energy and vision of the Rimini Youth Grand Orchestra and Choir, bringing the symphonic tradition into dialogue with contemporary musical languages, in keeping with the mission of the Malatesta Music Festival: to be a space for listening, discovery and the future.

Sursum Corda! is conceived as a musical journey exploring the dialogue between Gregorian chant and piano music, from the Romantic period to the present day.
Through works by composers such as Liszt, Respighi, Satie, Brahms and Crumb, the programme highlights how the modal and spiritual language of Gregorian chant continues to resurface in Western music in different forms: from Satie’s architectural symbolism to Liszt’s mystical intensity, and finally to the timbral and experimental dimensions of twentieth-century music.
The two new compositions, commissioned from young composers, provide a link with contemporary music, offering a fresh interpretation of Gregorian material through new sonic perspectives.
Sursum Corda! Gregorian Echoes from Romanticism to the Present Day is part of a wider national piano tour conceived by Paolo Ehrenheim in collaboration with the Bartolomeo Cristofori International Piano Festival. The tour comprises a series of concerts in various Italian cities, hosted in venues of particular historical and architectural significance, where the dialogue between music, space and spirituality becomes an integral part of the listening experience.

IBE Intermobility Future Ways is a leading biennial event dedicated to the present and future of integrated mobility. Performed by the Tbilisi Opera Ballet, the production presents the historic choreography of Marius Petipa in a new choreographic version by Alexey Fadeechev and Nina Ananiashvili, Artistic Director of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre since 2004.

Now in its tenth edition, the event brings together artistic excellence and social commitment, promoting the work of Lions International in support of the community, from protecting health and the environment to supporting young people and delivering humanitarian aid.
The highlight of the evening is Martín Palmeri’s Misatango, a work that combines the tradition of Christian liturgy with the intensity of tango nuevo.
Through its original and engaging musical language, the composition builds a bridge between sacred and popular music, offering a moving and profound artistic experience that brings together culture, emotion and solidarity.

The third edition of L’Attico – Club Temporaneo, a project by Collettivo L’Attico organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini and Rimini Cultura, returns with a programme dedicated to music and the performing arts, featuring concerts, performances, meetings and collaborative creative projects.
Ahead of the festival’s return in December, an open call for applications launches on Thursday, 1 October, inviting musicians aged 18 to 29 who live or reside in the Province of Rimini to take part. The initiative aims to support young talent through an artistic residency and production mentoring programme, culminating in the creation of an original, previously unpublished project.
The selected project will take part in the residency during the festival and be presented to the public as part of the official programme.
The 2026 edition is dedicated to Carlo Collodi, marking the bicentenary of his birth. Participants are invited to develop at least one original composition freely inspired by the author and his imaginative world.

Parkrun organizes timed races of 5 km all around the world, a sport event which is open to everyone.
The run in Rimini is at the Marecchia Park every Saturday morning. Just register on the official website of parkrun and bring with you a printout of the bar code at every race to get the chronometric detection time. The participation is free.
The parkrun is entirely organized by volunteers and a refreshment point will be available to runners with coffee, soft drinks and snacks.
