Summer 2023: the Nightjet arrives in Rimini, increasing to three the number of trains between Germany, Austria and the Riviera

During the summer of 2023, families and the many tourists arriving from Austria and Germany will be able to travel comfortably at night, as well as during the day, to reach the Romagna coasts with a sustainable, as well as economical, means of transport, avoiding the summer queues on the motorway . The new train routes - Nightjet - operated by ÖBB (Österreichische Bundesbahnen), in collaboration with Trenitalia, will be active from 10 June to 9 September 2023, with departures from Vienna and Munich (at 7:18pm and 8:09pm respectively ), to get to Rimini, Riccione and Cattolica early in the morning. Tickets starting from Euro 28.80.

With the two new night routes from Vienna and Munich, the direct connections between Austria, Germany and the Riviera rise to a total of three. The night trains are in fact in addition to the daily Munich-Rimini train (with a stop in Cesena), which will be operational from May 25 until September 9.
