From Monday 1 February the doors of the museums in Rimini reopen to the public, free of charge

Part - Giudizio Universale

Thanks to the transition of Emilia Romagna Region into the yellow zone, the doors of the Museums in Rimini reopen, even if only on weekdays.

The City Museum, the Surgeon's House and the Part - Rimini Art Palaces are open from Monday to Friday, free of charge, with two daily guided tours for small groups by appointment, at 5 pm and 6 pm Guided tours can be booked on the websites palazziarterimini.it  - museicomunalirimini.it or on the phone +39 0541 793851.

The reopening of Part, Palazzi dell'Arte, inside the ancient Arengo and Podestà Palaces, gives the chance to admire the contemporary art collection of the San Patrignano Foundation. Besides two exhibitions, respectively located in space1 of the Palazzo del Podestà and in space2 under an acronym called [APARTE] are: Convivium, with the works by Francesco Bocchini, Vittorio D'Augusta, Luca Giovagnoli, Marco Neri, Nicola Samorì and Magna Carta with the recent works by Denis Riva, curated by Massimo Pulini.

As part of the usual annual review dedicated to Photography, the exhibition TIME TO RESUME also opens in the new wing in the city museum. This year the theme will be the increasingly intricate interweaving between photography and painting. Within the exhibition, on the first floor of the new wing of the city museum, there are: an unusual intervention by Vittorio D'Augusta that starts from a photo to unfold his pictorial narration; a resume exhibition of these years by Isabella Balena and last but not least a gem by Italo Di Fabio, the historical prototype of the Italian and Rimini-born photo-amateur presented by riminisecondotre.

Opening times: from Monday to Friday: 9.30am-1pm and 4pm-7pm

Access to the public will be limited (reservations are always recommended) to ensure visits in complete safety.
