To celebrate the seven hundredth anniversary of Dante's death, on 24 and 25 March, Rimini will project Francesca's verses recited by one hundred students from twenty-five universities on five continents, on the ancient municipal buildings, in the heart of the city, to embrace the world with the most famous verses of love and passion in universal literature via web and social networks.

The event will take place from sunset of 24th to dawn of 25th March and will show the performances of the one hundred students of twenty-one Universities projected on the facade of the Palazzo del Podestà in Piazza Cavour, in the heart of the city of Francesca. On show the verses of Francesca da Rimini recited in the language of their own country which were broadcast in live streaming for the initiative WORLDWIDE KISSES | KISSES FROM THE WORLD on the occasion of the Women's Day (March 8th).

On the occasion of RIMINIDANTEDÌ (Dante day), the marathon with the most famous kisses of love and passion in literature of all time, those of Francesca, the most loved and celebrated character of the Divine Comedy, will be screened in a reduced version from 7.30pm on Wednesday 24th to 6.30am on Thursday 25th March to revive that planetary embrace in the name of hope, beauty and freedom of which the myth of Francesca is an exemplary representation.

RIMINIDANTEDÌ, is the second initiative of Dante's celebrations of the Malatesta lands that will continue with a series of cultural events between spring and summer 2021 under the name of Francesca 2021 Francesca 2021.

RIMINIDANTEDÌ proposes the synthesis of the performances of WORLDWIDE KISSES | KISSES FROM THE WORLD played on 8 March 2021 by students from the universities of Adelaide, Amsterdam, Barcelona, ​​Bologna, Buenos Aires, Ekaterinburg, Friborg, Gottingen, Johannesburg, Los Angeles, Madison, Madrid, Mariupol, Msida, New York, Paris, Pesaro, Quito, Ravenna, San Marino, San Paolo, Santiniketan, Shanghai, Siena, Toronto.

​The initiative, organized and curated by the ‘Francesca da Rimini International Study Center’, was promoted and realised by the Municipalities of Rimini and Gradara with the collaboration of the Emilia-Romagna and Marche Regions.
